The Colors of Easter Story
Green branches of palm trees waved as a sign of victory as he walked thru Jerusalem with the cross upon is back.
Purple is the robe he wore as He stood alone on that forsaken day.
Red is for His precious blood He shed from the crown of thorns placed upon His brow.
Black is for our sins for which He died upon the cross, suffering to redeem us anew
Orange, Gold, and Rose are for the early morning hours when the tomb was empty and our hopes and faith reborn.
White is for all who saw that Jesus the Lamb of God has arisen and that all was new in the world. Alleluia Amen
